Comments on SRK ;)

You're a wizard
It’s 3 years since I saw you on German TV and at the Temptation in Germany. Now I have seen all your movies. I have seen a lot of other movies, with different actors too, but no one could touch me so as you do. Maybe because with them I don’t have the life experience which I have had with you 3 times. But I think that would change nothing. I have bought the first ticket without knowing that you have such a great charisma. Up to now I haven’t felt this desire again. It´s destiny I think that we all are fascinated by you so much. You’re a wizard. May your life go on as it is yet. Full of success, happiness, security, freedom and lots of love. God bless you and your family.

I just adore him for what he is
He is a mega star and the most famous man in the world. I just adore him for what he is, humble, patient, comical, honest and brilliant. A great entertainer and I love watching him dance on TV and movies. I see his movies everyday and what can I say, his performances are marvellous, unique!! I don’t care what the critics say- it’s just unbelievable. Finally, all I can say besides being charming this dimpled actor is a wonderful husband, sweet father and caring brother. I love Shahrukh Khan!

My heart desires
I don’t know how to explain myself because this man is worth more than words. He is the King Of All Men and everyone knows that. After watching his movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai back in ’99, I already knew that if I learnt anything about love, it was because of Shah Rukh Khan. It’s like my heart desires a man just like him and nothing else, just love. His eyes are dreamy, his arms are so adorable and his voice could sing me to bed. Nothing else needs to be said, because everyone here knows exactly what kind of a man he truly is... A Love God.

A source of unending energy
He is just the best, and a source of unending energy and inspiration for me.

I just adore this young man
I just adore this young man. For me, he is the ultimate actor and entertainer. Most of the Indian films I have watched without Shah Rukh Khan appear flat. May God continue to crown him with good health, success, adoration and never ending popularity.

Charisma, charm, goodness, humility
How is it that all the fans of Shah Rukh Khan say almost the same things about him- his charisma, charm, acting, goodness, humility and the way that once he enters your life you are absolutely hooked for the rest of your life!
Marui, United Kingdom - 06 December 2006

You're hooked on every word!
I don’t know why!!! I really don’t know. Its just... him!!! I love his honesty... I love how some actors have attitude, some are arrogant, some are humble etc etc, but SRK is always so humble and kind, yet he’s always saying how he’s the best, lol, and in my opinion he’s one of the only actors who can get away with saying that and not sound pompous, cuz HELLO, he deserves it - he IS the BEST!!! But then sometimes when he’s a little more serious than usual. He’ll be all shy, and those adorable dimples will come out, and he’ll rate himself really low, and be all modest - and THAT, THAT is what I love about him. How he can be arrogant in a light-hearted way and so humble in actuality, and the way he lets the public KNOW that this is how he is, so you know that he isn’t cheating you - he’s being himself.
I love this quote of his (I don’t remember the exact words or interview, but he says this in a lot of his interviews): that every morning when he wakes up and tells himself that he’s the best, its to give him courage, and to remind himself that there are a million others 10 times better than him, and that he has to work hard everyday to get better and better and ultimately be the best. I love how one of his greatest fears is to one day wake up, go out, and not have screaming fans running around him (lol as if thats ever going to happen!!!) He blatantly says he loves fame, he loves that people love him. That’s honesty. How he doesn’t want to hide from fans cuz hiding from them is not why he wanted fame in the first place. If he said all this annoyed him, it would be an insult to us, his fans. Thats why I love him. I love how he can draw you in the minute he arrives somewhere - you feel his presence. He speaks so intelligently! You’re hooked on every word! Full of wit and a great sense of humour to boot. I love how he jokingly says things like, “If I don’t get an award, then the awards are worthless”, or “If I’m not in a movie, then the movie sucks.” He’s not insulting anyone and everyone knows it! It’s all light-hearted jokes.
I love another thing about SRK and the media - how every year they take a new upcoming hero and announce the end of Shahrukh Khan. And Shahrukh Khan? He is STILL, the undisputed Baadshah of Bollywood. *oooo* just saying that sends shivers down my spine. All of this together with his intellect, philosophical thinking, and kindheartedness make him the sexiest of all – a beautiful man with brains… I love Shahrukh Khan the actor. You can’t help it – it’s the charm and charisma factor along with the unique style of acting and his immense energy levels. The way he portrays his character’s sense of humour, makes you want to laugh. When he romances a woman atop green hills, you want to be in his arms right there and then. When he cries, you feel his pain, you want to make it better, you want to hug him, you want to cry with him, for him. And when he smiles, when he’s happy, the world shines bright!!! Look, he’s found happiness. Everything is perfect. Besides the technical aspect of great acting, Shahrukh is the only one who makes you feel all this and more. And once I was introduced to Shahrukh Khan the person, I fell in love all over again. Knowing the person behind those dimples (ooo those dimples), behind the characters he portrays, is probably why he holds a special place in my heart. I must end this. Now. Quickly, before I’ve written a whole book on the subject!!!

A Very Special Visitor's Comment

I went to see Shahrukh Khan in London when he came to unveil his statue at Madame Tussauds wax museum. I was accompanied by five young women from Shahrukh Khan's French fan club, Shahrukhfan.fr. We knew that only media people would be allowed to get into the museum, but despite this, we came from France, hoping to see Shahrukh, and maybe talk to him. I am on a wheelchair and it was almost vital for me to tell him that when I see him dance, my body too dances, that I can dance with his body. I so much wanted to thank him! We went to the museum at 7 am and we waited for hours in the icy wind of London. We talked to the bodyguards, they were giants but very nice ones; people were getting more and more excited and less and less controllable. They had come from all parts of the world, "only" to catch a glimpse of Shahrukh: France, Japan, Australia, Trinidad... Then he came. Suddenly no one remembered me, our small group was scattered, literally ejected meters away from me, I was sandwiched between Nani, who was helplessly holding the wheelchair, and the bodyguard, with my head flattened against him. I managed to move my head away, and I saw Shahrukh, with his caramel-coloured skin, his black hair, and beautiful smile. Then, for one second, our eyes met. How strange.Try to imagine: the overexcited crowd, the hysteria, the bodyguards, and our eyes met, although he was three meters away from me, with lots of people between us, and my chair wasn't at all at the level of his eyes. Then everything became black. The tsunami was dangerously shaking my chair. My face was flattened against the bodyguard. All that came to my mind was that the wedge of the armchair was completely driven into the guard's legs, and Nani was doing her very best to prevent me from falling on the ground. Then the bodyguard moved, with one hand he was holding the crowd and with the other he made sure that I could see something. In fact, it's because Shahrukh was kneeling down that the guard moved. He was kneeling down for me. It was like being in a cave with human walls, we were in front of each other, and I was able to tell him thank you, I could tell him that he made me dance. He didn't understand. People were screaming and my English wasn't good, I was too nervous. He asked me, surprised, if I wanted to dance. I said "no, I don't want to dance, I dance with your body". He smiled, took my face with infinite tenderness, and kissed me on the forehead. He didn't smell cigarette, nor perfume, only a nice body odour. His kiss wasn't wet but not dry either. It was complete. He went away and I didn't see him again. What more can I tell you? This man gives off strength. When he came near me I felt this strength, he gives and gives, only with his presence. It wasn't a star kissing a disabled woman for publicity. I felt the human being, full of tenderness. He is able to do a lot of good. I don't understand why Tussauds tried desperately to discourage us from coming. I hope Shahrukh knows that the reason why there weren't more people is that Tussauds refused to give information, kept repeating that we wouldn't see him, laughed at us. The public relations of the museum strung us along, Tussauds didn't want us to come. I don't know why and I hope this will reach Shahrukh's ears. If it does: thank you, Shahrukh; seeing you and seeing you dance has changed my life. Thank you for stopping in front of me on Tuesday, April 3rd.

Shah Rukh Khan Biography

The year is 1991. First-time director Hema Malini looks anxious on the sets of her directorial debut, 'Dil Aashna Hai'. The cause of her anxiety triggers laughter as it is discovered that the lady, despite employing all haircut methods on her boyish-looking hero Shahrukh Khan, remains unsuccessful with his unruly mop. Hema finally lets go of the boy and his effervescent hair without a crop. The film bungled at the box office. Was it due to Khan's boisterous hair?Today, in retrospect, it looks like it was his disheveled hair, big nose, average height and average looks that broke conventions to give birth to a new-age star.SRK's USP were his energy, fizz and 'dreamz unlimited'. The boy just refuses to sit idle. Says Juhi co-star and friend: ''Shahrukh went on even when others stopped due to exhaustion. He breathes films. He is down-to-earth, without an attitude. He is very friendly and has a funny sense of humor''.When Colonel Kapoor signed SRK for his serial on faujis, he knew the potential of the bubbly youth but the amazing career he would charter wasn't probably envisaged. After Fauji, a couple of more television serials and Shahrukh joined the big league and gave a smashing hit Deewana with the late Divya Bharati. As compared to the superstars of yesteryears, Shahrukh's ride up the ladder was tougher. He had to face the rage of explosion of information and technology while working towards super-stardom. He was required to possess charisma compelling enough to make people rise above the zillion modes of entertainment and be his audience. Shahrukh managed to captivate and the feat, by no means, was easy. From a boy-next-door to a saleable hero, from a hero to a star, a superstar and finally a phenomenon, though there is nothing concrete to show where his prowess lay. He was plain and ordinary. It is very difficult to place fingers on a reason that enabled SRK reach where he is today. Probably his plainness was his virtue. He was never an enigma. He was guileless, without a benefactor to lead him around by his fingers. His only weapon was his willingness to work hard and professionalism. An upfront attitude earned SRK some very valuable friends in an industry otherwise dominated by detractors and chamchas. Juhi, his co-star, close pal and now his business partner for 'Dreamz Unlimited' forms an integral part of the core group, that has Aziz Mirza, whom SRK is very close to, Yash Johar, Yash Chopra and their sons Karan and Aditya. In a profession where commitment towards wives and girlfriends take the backburner, SRK's devotion towards wife Gauri has been lauded. He is probably one of the rare actors who in their entire careers did not have any romantic liaisons. One who remained a buddy to men and women alike. From a fauji to being SRK, the rise was epic. But a downward slide is inevitable. Even SRK knows that. Hence we see a production company already working full swing. But the loss of stardom hurts. The cola war bears ample evidence of that. Contrary to popular belief, SRK is not jealous. He has achieved far too much to envy the rise of new kids. He is apprehensive of a besiege. The maiden venture of SRK's production company bombed. He was barely recovering from the disaster with hopes pinned on his next release 'Josh', when the film too failed to draw the kind of attention it was expected to. There's however, still time to the downward slide. SRK has too many good projects to keep him going strong. There's 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum', 'Mohabbatein', 'Devdaas', and his own production 'Ashoka, The Great'.For every loss there is a new hope. SRK is too full of zest to be defeated and live quietly. He will explore other avenues in films even if he ceases to be a superstar. He will continue to be there.

Experience wid sharukh khan

The story of this site begins with the first movie I saw with ShahRukh – it was 'Veer Zaara'. From that day on I was tied to this wonderful human. The movie was very nice and I was not able to stop my tears for a long time after the finish – knowing it was just a movie - not real, but it was not only the story, whom have finally touched me so deeply, it was ShahRukh Khan who have touched my soul - not the actor, not the man - just the human ShahRukh Khan. I could see right in his heart and face myself, it was a mystic thing, I can’t really explain it, because there are no words to describe this feeling. I am not spiritual but I know God give me a look into his heart, he show me such a beautiful soul – and can see myself in it.
I spend sleepless nights, trying to find out, what’s happened with me and I get curious about who this wonderful human is, who has occupied my whole thinking and feelings. I read a lot about him, see all his movies and felt more and more closer to him. And than I see 'Swades' and nearly the same thing happened like during I saw 'Veer Zaara'. I was born in another country, not in the place I live now and I can't never forget the home in my heart, the country, the people, the traditions, the culture, the mentality and that kind of human being. It was like being one with ShahRukh in the movie. - feeling what he felt and I know, this was not only a role he plays. This was ShahRukh Khan playing himself.
No question - life here is easier, I have all what I need – all material things - but here it’s not my home and it will never be – I will remain a stranger for the rest of this life. All these luxury things around me, they don’t make me happy, they don’t warm my heart. I appreciate a very simple life – simple peoples with pure hearts and good values, this is what I desire. These people I find in Bollywood movies and for a few hours my heart feels like reaching his home.
It's so easy for me to understand his feelings in "Swades". I saw ShahRukh's two worlds too – on DVD and I recognized, that my feelings were right, he is like my heart told me from the first moment I saw him - the most wunderful human I have ever seen in this world - live or on screen there is nobody like him - an angel with a heart of gold. He is such a great personalitiy - a silent and sensitive human, large-hearted and down-on-earth with a sweet natural shyness. He never must explain his feelings, you feel what he feels at the same time.
To describe him with the words from 'Veer Zaara': I know someone who is willingly give up his life for the persons he loves, a person whose eyes are honest and whose words have honour, a man who can forsake everything for his beloveds, a person to whom it makes no difference who or what someone is. Shahrukh knows, we all are humans under the heavens above and there is just one God taking care of us, we have only different ways to praise him.
He is the best actor I know – there is no one who can be compared with him, because in the movies attached to real life, he doesn’t play roles, he plays just himself. His style to act is very special - he put honesty and authenticity in all the roles he plays. With him a movie stands or falls. Whatever he does, it is reliable, Whatever the role requires, he is able to fulfils it. When he smiles, it’s like the sun comes up, when he’s happy, his face shows pure luck and when he’s hurt, his eyes shows the pain. Seeing his pain I desire to embrace him and just hold him - not the acor, not the man, just the human.
I feel much closed to Shahrukh Khan the human – I love him really much a innocent way - like a sister her brother – the brother I’ve lost when I was 12, now 25 years ago – I love him like a human loves another human – the way Gods rules asks. It’s not a woman’s love for a man – it was never this kind of love. I know he is married and my character does not permit me to desire what belongs to someone else. I know there is a special kind of love between him and his wife and that he loves his kids so much.
I take his own words for my wish: I hope all his beloveds just keep him happy. I do wish from the bottom of my heart, that he never has tears in his eyes – or when, only because of luck – that he never feels pain and that he always keeps smiling. I know I am nothing to him and I know, I will never be, I guess, he will not even know that I exist, but he gives me so much with these two wonderful movies and his own kind of human being. It helps me to love life again, to take sadness with a smile, he gives me hope - knowing I’m not alone – I thank God, that he has send this angel with such a beautiful mind, heart and soul to earth and let me breathe the same air like him.
Rani asks in 'Veer Zaara': Is he a human pretending to be God or is he a God disguised as human? I don't know the answer, but I know he is special. To know him helps you to get a better human. He brings out the best values in everyone, a really holy charakteristic.
I have nothing to give him back, so I honour him with this site, made with all my love and I say it at least again with his own words: Shahrukh, I understand that you belong to someone else, and there's nothing between us, nor can ever be, but where ever, whenever you need a friend, a sister or everything else, just remember, there is someone in this world, who will give his life for the most beautiful kind of human being in this world – for YOU. Please never forget: somewhere, someone loves you more than life. Take care Shah Rukh Khan and may God bless you and your beloveds! Live long and still remember: Main Hoon Na :)
